The Way to Mammary Lane
She’s a playful mystic; a writer only because of a mad love for words and following the ruckus they make in her silent wake. But she can tell you the roads she took to Mammary Lane, a place that runs between the heart of kin and hides behind the chest wall; or as Virginia Woolf put it, in a Room of One’s Own, well, something about the light that hung on the spine, or at least that’s how she remembers it.
How would I know?
Because I am She. Silly. Mammary Lane became first for me – truly only I can muster up the will to live and to do the things that improve my odds. I might have gone too far on being odd, but improvement is there too. So all is well.
I still recover. Not always sure what my name is, but beneath it all there is a vast inner space where my Mother Ship floats, navigating the Miko Verse, collecting stories to share with the Little Ones. I hope we will still have some left, the Earth’s inhabitants have some of them gone batty and that is no offense to bats.
For the Little Ones also I’ve prepared some special Gifts. I’ll need help to transport them from Mikoopolis to Earth. If you’d like to help, I invite you to Donate. Likewise, if you have resources in kind to donate, please contact me.
What am I up to exactly? Well, something like Pinky, for those who know. Tonight we’ll do what we do every night, and that is try to take over the world. One carefully placed word at a time.
Thank you for your kind attention and generosity. I trust the rest of your journey will treat you exceptionally well. If I have anything to do with it.
Or She, as the case may be. Sometimes it is so tricksy being me, I have to be She. Or Her. Her is the realest deal dragon woman human hybrid, and Her only comes out when She is tired.
We’ll start the journey to Mammary Lane tomorrow. Tomorrow’s often the best day to do things.
Pack lightly, we’ll take frequent breaks to dance and play.

- Welcome to Miko CareBefore we dive deep into what Miko Care represents – in short, my personal adventures and misadventures in life and love and breast cancer – let me just say I had a lot of fun making this new logo. First of all the M is a super fancy cursive (motto: why curse when you can…
- Antinovel Starts Here: Bounceback Selfie, 11-11-2011Flash forward to now – it’s a hot summer night in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s dark in my room except for the smart TV playing relaxing underwater scenes and I’m settled, in contrast to the selfie below, a whirlwind of clarifying moments (the tough kind!) as 2011 closed. Back then I lived in La Quinta,…
