Delilah’s Debacle
Delilah’s Debacle revisits the biblical story of Samson and Delilah from Delilah’s own perspective. It is a published novel and an earlier expression of a question that still interests me: what becomes visible when we change where we stand?
Originally written in 1999 as Betrayal.
Stories & Literary Explorations
Personal writing from 2012–2019, part of my early MikoCare writing practice. These stories hold questions, experiments, and imaginative places that continue to unfold in my work.

Hope’s Hammock
A short story written in 2013, moving through darkness, imagination, and renewed connection with oneself.

Wits & Tits
An irreverent blend of personal narrative and fiction, written in late 2018 amid breast cancer treatment and surgeries.

If God Was My Daddy, Am I a Goddess?
A playful literary letter exploring divine love, creativity, and permission to be many things.
From the Earlier Archive
Written in the late 1990s during my years in World Services and originally published through Heaven’s Library, these works explored care, belonging, freedom, belief, and imagined worlds. They preserve the questions and perspectives of that period, including threads I continue to revisit in different forms.
These titles are included here as part of my writing history and are not currently offered for sale.
Apocalyne
A speculative novel set on an invented world, exploring belonging, inherited beliefs, recovered history, and the consequences of questioning an accepted order.
Called to Love
A story of care, conscience, and hidden identity, following a young woman across social divisions and asking what responsibility means when people have different access to power.
Another Kind of Courage
A story following Arielle from childhood bravery into medicine, love, and loss. It explores the relationship between professional skill and human care—and the courage required when rescuing someone is no longer possible.
Betrayal
The original version of Delilah’s Debacle, retelling Samson and Delilah’s story through Delilah’s perspective. It explores the tension between love and self-protection, the pressures surrounding intimate choices, and the consequences of acting against one’s own heart.
Written in 1999; originally published through Heaven’s Library. Self-published as Betrayal in 2009 and retitled Delilah’s Debacle in 2013.
Follow Along
On with the Duckery
Reporting from Mikoopolis.
On with the Duckery is where I write from inside the work while it is still happening—observations, essays, experiments, field notes, ridiculousness, and whatever becomes worth following as life, MikoCare, and the Living Novel continue to unfold.
